Material

LaserStates is capable of supplying a wide range of glass material, including optical glass, color glass, infrared materials and UV materials etc. LaserStates is very familiar with the optical raw material. You only have a good command of Material Characteristics, then you can process high quality optics and crystal. LaserStates have special experience to inspect and process the raw material.

LaserStates have very strong capability in processing the fused silica, CaF2 and LAS material.

Fused Silica

Fused Silica material is widely used in the UV range, for Semiconductor lithography, High - power Nd:YAG, Astronomy, Medical and FPD applications. LaserStates could offer the best polished fused silica optics for the customers based on the transmission and OH content requirement. The operators and the inspectors could determine the homogeneity and birefringence out of specification or not during the polishing result. A good annealing processed fused silica could get good surface quality.

CaF2

LaserStates have special technique to polish CaF2 substrates very well. The substrates are widely used in the lithography application, Raman Spectroscopy, Microscope and so on.

In lithography application, the roughness of the surface should less than 10nm, the flatness requirement and surface quality requirement is also high, it is really very difficult to polish the CaF2 substrate
- CaF2 is soft, affect the flatness and surface quality.
- Residual stress, very easy to be chipped or broken
- Will deform in very little difference of temperature
- The cleavability of crystal will also affect polishing

LAS (Extremely Low Expansion Glass)

LaserStates' Extremely Low Expansion Glass (LaserStates Material Code (LAS) is a very good substitutable material of Schott Zerodur. High precision flat mirrors from LAS are widely used in high technology applications such as high precision measurement, astronomy, for all demanding applications in which geometrical shape and distance changes must be minimized as much as possible during shifts in temperature. LaserStates have offered LAS Mirror Substrate for many years. The flatness of the mirror could be lambda/20.

Material Lot Management

LaserStates always pay top attention on the material lot management. It is very easy to retrospect the lot of material by using ERP system .
